Is Special Blue 9x worth it over cheaper butane?

If your torch clogs or sputters on budget gas, the extra filtration is the reason to pay more. For light, occasional use, plain butane works fine.

How much butane is in the 12-pack?

Twelve 300 ml cans, about 3.6 liters in total. That is roughly a year of regular torch use for most people.

Will it work in my torch lighter?

Yes, it is standard butane in 300 ml cans with the usual refill nozzle. It suits cigar lighters, torch lighters and culinary torches.

Is $36.00 a good price?

That works out to $3.00 a can, which is reasonable for 9x-filtered butane. Only two stores list it, so compare both before buying.

Can it be shipped by air?

No. Butane is a flammable gas, so it ships ground only and some sellers won't ship it at all.
