Is a 2-inch topper thick enough?

It adds surface cushioning but little support. If your mattress is sagging or very firm, a 3- to 4-inch topper will do more.

Is this topper soft or firm?

It is listed as firm. Expect a firmer feel than a plush memory foam topper, which is a common complaint in its ratings.

Does the cooling gel actually keep you cool?

It can help compared with plain memory foam, but a 2-inch foam layer still traps some heat. Hot sleepers should not expect a big change.

It is wipe clean only. Spot clean the surface and avoid machine washing or soaking the foam.

When is the best time to buy?

Its best new price was $36.89 at eBay as of November 7, 2026. Topper prices often dip around holiday sales, so compare against that figure.

Our take on the Concetta 2 Inch Queen Size Memory Foam Mattress Topper with Cooling Gel

The Concetta is a 2-inch queen memory foam topper with a cooling gel layer, sold as a firm pad to add pressure relief to a too-hard mattress. At 2 inches it is a thin topper, so it softens the surface more than it transforms the bed. Its best new price is $36.89 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, with two stores listing it new; that is a low price for a queen gel topper, and the 3-out-of-5 average across 2,300 ratings suggests expectations are often missed.
