Is the CrossContact LX25 worth the price?

It is a strong all-season choice if you want a quiet ride and a 70,000-mile warranty. Budget shoppers can find cheaper tires, but few match its comfort and treadwear coverage.

How does it handle snow?

It has traction grooves and handles light snow, but it is an all-season tire. For regular deep snow or ice, a dedicated winter tire is the safer choice.

What warranty comes with it?

H- and T-rated sizes carry a 70,000-mile limited treadwear warranty; V-rated sizes get 65,000 miles. It also includes a 60-day trial and 3 years of roadside assistance.

What does 225/55R19 mean?

It is a 19-inch tire, 225 mm wide, with a 55 aspect ratio. This size fits many mid-size SUVs and crossovers; check your vehicle's placard before buying.

What is the load and speed rating?

This size is rated 95H: 1,521 lbs per tire and up to 130 mph. That suits most mid-size crossovers.

Prices vary by store and season. Compare all seven listings and watch for fall and spring promotions, when all-season tires are often discounted.
