Is the CrossContact LX25 worth it over a cheaper all-season tire?

It costs more than budget tires but backs it with a 740 treadwear grade, a 70,000-mile warranty on H-rated sizes and a 60-day trial. If you keep your SUV for years, the wear and warranty usually pay back the difference.

How does it compare with the CrossContact LX20 it replaced?

The LX25 is the newer generation, with a higher treadwear grade and improved wet braking over the LX20. It also adds the Tuned Performance Indicators for tread and alignment checks.

Will 235/65R17 fit my SUV?

Only if your vehicle's placard calls for 235/65R17. Check the door-jamb sticker or owner's manual before buying; this size is common on mid-size crossovers but not universal.

Is this tire good in snow?

It is an all-season tire with the M+S marking, so it handles light snow and cold rain. For regular deep-snow driving, a dedicated winter tire is the better choice.

What is included with the tire?

The listing is for the tire only. Continental adds a 60-day trial and 3-year roadside assistance, and the H-rated size carries a 70,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.

When is the best time to buy?

Tire prices move with seasonal promotions, often around spring and fall changeover sales. The current best new price is $174.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026.
