Our take on the Cool White 4000K 32.8 ft COB LED Strip Light Dimmable Cuttable UL Listed

This is a 32.8 ft COB LED tape in cool white, dimmable and cuttable, sold as a single corded indoor run. COB strips use a continuous phosphor layer over many tiny chips, so the light reads as one unbroken line instead of visible dots. The listing mixes 4000K in the name with 6500K and 100 lm in the specs, and the two color temperatures look quite different, so confirm which one ships before buying. No price was provided, so there is no current price to compare against its recent range.

Best forUnder-cabinet and shelf lighting in kitchens or workshops
Cove and ceiling accent runs where a seamless line matters
DIY installers who want to cut the strip to length
Cool-white task lighting in garages, closets and utility rooms
Pros
  • COB design gives a smooth, dot-free light line
  • 32.8 ft is a long single run for the money
  • Dimmable with a compatible dimmer or controller
  • Cuttable at marked points for custom lengths
  • UL Listed for the strip assembly
Cons
  • Specs conflict: 4000K in the name, 6500K and 100 lm in the details
  • 100 lm is dim for a full 32.8 ft run; expect low output per foot
  • Corded, so placement is limited to reach of an outlet
  • Indoor only; not rated for wet or outdoor use
  • Needs a separate power supply and dimmer, which may not be included

Questions and answers

Is this strip 4000K or 6500K?
The product name says 4000K, but the spec sheet lists 6500K and describes it as cool white. 4000K is neutral white; 6500K is noticeably bluer. Ask the seller to confirm the actual color temperature before ordering.
How bright is it really?
The listed brightness is 100 lm, which is very low for a 32.8 ft strip. That figure may refer to a single segment or be an error. Check the lumens per foot or per meter before relying on it for task lighting.
What do I need to make it work?
You need a 24V or 12V power supply matched to the strip's voltage, plus a dimmer or controller if you want dimming. Confirm the voltage and whether a power adapter is in the box, since COB strips usually ship without one.
Can I cut it to fit?
Yes, it is cuttable at marked intervals, typically every few centimeters on COB strips. Cut only on the marked lines and seal the end, or the run will not light.
Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It is rated for indoor use and is not listed as wet-rated. Keep it away from moisture, steam and direct water exposure.
When is the best time to buy?
LED strip prices move with sales events and seasonal promotions. Set a price alert and compare across stores rather than buying at the first listing you see.
