Our take on the Corelle Ocean Blues Dinnerware Set

The Corelle Ocean Blues set is a 16-piece service for 4 made of Corelle's laminated tempered glass, with a white body and blue ocean-inspired pattern. Corelle is known for thin, light plates that resist chipping and stack in small cabinets, and this set covers dinner plates, salad plates, bowls and mugs. The best new price is $34.57 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no meaningful recent price range to compare against.

  • Thin profile stacks tightly and saves cabinet space
  • 16 pieces cover four full place settings
  • Microwave and dishwasher safe
  • Pattern hides light scratches and utensil marks
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin

  • Mugs are small for large coffee drinks
  • Pattern may not suit buyers who want plain white

Questions and answers

Is Corelle Ocean Blues microwave and dishwasher safe?
Yes. Corelle's tempered glass is made for both the microwave and the dishwasher, so the plates, bowls and mugs can go straight from reheating to washing.
How many people does the 16-piece set serve?
It is a service for 4: four dinner plates, four salad plates, four bowls and four mugs.
Is Corelle breakable?
Corelle resists chipping and is lighter than stoneware, but it is glass. A hard drop onto tile or concrete can still crack or shatter a piece.
Is $34.57 a good price for this set?
That is the best new price found, at eBay as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new. With no other new listings to compare, it is hard to call it a discount, but it is low for a 16-piece Corelle set.
Does the pattern fade or scratch?
The design is fired into the glass, so it does not wash off. Normal utensil use can leave faint marks, which the busy pattern tends to hide.
Can I add more pieces later?
Corelle sells open-stock pieces and other Ocean Blues items separately, but availability varies by store, so matching extras is not guaranteed.
What do buyers say about the Corelle Ocean Blues Dinnerware Set?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 710 ratings.
Where can I buy the Corelle Ocean Blues Dinnerware Set?
2 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Lee Distributors.
