Is Corelle Mystic Gray worth it at $69.91?

At $69.91 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is about $17.50 per place setting for chip-resistant tempered glass. That is fair for Corelle, and no other store lists a new price to beat it.

How does Corelle compare with ceramic or stoneware?

Corelle is laminated tempered glass, so it is thinner, lighter and more drop-resistant than most ceramic. It feels less hefty and has a more casual look.

Can these plates go in the microwave and dishwasher?

Yes. Corelle's tempered glass is microwave and dishwasher safe, and the pieces are oven safe to 350°F.

How big are the bowls and plates?

Dinner plates are 10.25 inches, appetizer plates 6.75 inches, and bowls are 6.25 inches wide, 2 inches high and hold 18 ounces.

Twelve pieces: four dinner plates, four appetizer plates and four soup and cereal bowls. No mugs or serving pieces are included.

Corelle sets often drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The current $69.91 at Amazon is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so watch for holiday discounts.

Our take on the Corelle Mystic Gray 12-Piece Dinnerware Set for 4

The Corelle Mystic Gray 12-Piece Set is a service for four built on Corelle's laminated tempered glass: four 10.25-inch dinner plates, four 6.75-inch appetizer plates and four 18-ounce soup and cereal bowls in a gray pattern. The plates are thin and light compared with stoneware, stack in little space and are made to survive drops and daily dishwasher cycles. At $69.91 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to wait for right now.
