Is the Latwon desk worth it?

For a compact wooden desk with two drawers at a mid-range price, yes, as long as you accept assembly and light-duty use. If you need a heavy work desk or filing storage, spend more elsewhere.

How long does assembly take?

Most owners report one to two hours with two people. Having a screwdriver and a second pair of hands ready makes it much faster.

How big is the desktop?

The top is 21.7 inches deep, which fits a laptop plus a monitor comfortably. Check the listed width against your space, since the depth alone does not tell the full story.

Can the drawers hold files?

No. They are shallow general-purpose drawers for pens, cables and small notebooks, not hanging-file drawers.

When is the best time to buy?

Wayfair runs frequent sales on Corrigan Studio furniture, so compare the current price with the desk's recent price history and buy during a markdown rather than at list price.

Our take on the Corrigan Studio Latwon Wooden Desk

The Corrigan Studio Latwon is a wooden writing desk with two drawers and a 21.7-inch-deep top, sold through Wayfair's Corrigan Studio line. It is a mid-century-leaning piece aimed at home offices and bedrooms rather than heavy daily office use. Ratings sit at 4.3 out of 5 across about 1,700 reviews, which is solid but not top-tier for the category. Check the current listing price against the desk's recent range before buying, since Wayfair pricing on this line moves with sales.
