Is the Corsair Vengeance a7400 worth $2,899.99?

That depends on the graphics card, which the listing does not name. At $2,899.99 at B&H Photo-Video-Audio as of November 5, 2026, it is only a fair buy if the GPU is a current high-end card. Compare the exact GPU against a self-built parts list before committing.

Can it run games at 4K?

Corsair lists it as 4K-capable at 3840x2160, but frame rates depend on the GPU and the game. Expect to use upscaling in the newest titles at that resolution.

How does it compare with the previous Vengeance a7300?

The a7400 moves to the X870 chipset, DDR5, Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Ethernet. Those are the main generational gains over older Vengeance desktops; the case layout stays a mid-tower with glass panels.

Is there room to upgrade later?

Yes. The 850W 80 PLUS Gold supply leaves headroom for a bigger GPU, and the X870 board supports current AMD processors and DDR5. Storage expansion relies on M.2 slots since there are no external drive bays.

What comes in the box?

The desktop with Windows 11 Home preinstalled and a 1TB NVMe SSD. No monitor is bundled, so budget for a display, keyboard and mouse.

Only one store lists it new, so discounts are rare and tied to B&H sales events. Watch for holiday and back-to-school promotions rather than expecting a broad price war.
