Our take on the Costway 19.5" Smokeless Fire Pit Stainless Steel Wood Burning Firepit with Rain Cover

The Costway Smokeless Fire Pit is a free-standing wood-burning fire pit in stainless steel, about 19 inches tall and 22 inches deep, and it ships with a rain cover. Its smokeless design relies on secondary air flow that reburns smoke, which cuts down on smoke blowing at seated guests. At $129.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price tracked, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is it worth $129.99?
At $129.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is a fair price for a stainless smokeless pit with a cover. Comparable stainless smokeless pits often cost more, but this is the only new price tracked, so there is no discount history to confirm it is a low.
Does it really burn smokeless?
It reduces smoke by reburning gases through secondary air holes, not by eliminating smoke. You will still get smoke on startup and with damp or green wood.
How big is it?
It stands about 19 inches tall with a 22-inch depth, so it suits two to four people around a small patio. It is not a large gathering-size pit.
What is in the box?
The fire pit and a rain cover. A spark screen, poker and firewood are not included.
Can I use it on a wood deck?
Only with a heat-resistant pad underneath and local rules allowing it. Keep it clear of railings and overhangs, and never leave it unattended.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is tracked, $129.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, so there is no seasonal pattern yet. Watch for fall clearance and end-of-summer markdowns.
Where is the Costway 19.5" Smokeless Fire Pit Stainless Steel Wood Burning Firepit with Rain Cover cheapest?
At Target, for $129.99, as of our latest check.
