Is the Costway 7 FT Pre-Lit Balsam Fir Christmas Tree worth it?

For the price, it offers a full-size pre-lit tree with easy setup. It is a good choice if you want a budget-friendly tree and don't mind fluffing the branches.

How does it compare to higher-end artificial trees?

It has fewer tips and uses PVC rather than PE branches, so it may look less realistic. However, it costs significantly less than premium brands.

Are the lights replaceable?

The LED lights are integrated and not designed to be replaced individually. If a strand fails, you may need to use replacement light strings.

What are the dimensions and footprint?

It is 7 feet tall, and the base is about 3.5 feet wide when branches are spread. Check your space to ensure a good fit.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, it is listed for outdoor use, but it should be placed in a covered area to protect the lights and PVC from direct weather.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices often drop after Thanksgiving and in early December. As of November 5, 2026, the best price is $73.68 at Walmart.
