Is it worth it over a cheap electronic keyboard?

If you want no batteries, no volume and a piano shape a toddler can sit at, yes. An electronic keyboard gives more sounds and stays in tune, but needs power and usually no bench.

Does it need batteries?

No. It is a manual acoustic toy piano, so it makes sound from the keys alone.

Costway lists ages 1 to 7. In practice it fits best from about 18 months to 5 years, since the keys and bench are sized for small children.

What comes in the box?

The piano, the bench and the assembly parts, listed as 5 pieces. It arrives unassembled and needs a screwdriver.

The best new price was $64 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the lower of two stores. Toy pianos often drop around Black Friday and before Christmas.

Our take on the Costway Children 30 Key Toy Grand Baby Piano with Kids Bench

This is a child-sized grand piano toy with 30 keys and a matching bench, aimed at ages 1 to 7. It is acoustic, not electronic, so it needs no batteries and makes sound from the keys alone. It stands about 20 inches tall and wide, small enough for a playroom corner. At $64 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the lower of the two new prices tracked, so it sits at the cheap end of its recent range.
