Our take on the Costway Indoor Electric Pizza Oven for 12-Inch Pizzas

The Costway Indoor Electric Pizza Oven is a countertop electric oven built for 12-inch pizzas, with a cordierite stone and a claimed top temperature of 850°F from a 1700 W element. It runs on a standard household outlet and is meant for indoor residential use, so no gas or outdoor setup is needed. At $115.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. Is the Costway electric pizza oven worth it?

At $115.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to bake 12-inch pizzas on a stone indoors. If you want certified safety or larger pies, spend more on a listed brand.

Does it really reach 850°F?

Costway claims a maximum of 850°F, but electric countertop ovens usually run below their peak at the stone. Expect to preheat well and check with an infrared thermometer.

What size pizzas fit?

It is built for 12-inch pizzas, and the cordierite stone matches that size. Larger pies will not fit, and smaller ones are fine.

Is it safe to use indoors?

It is rated for indoor residential use, but it has no NRTL listing, so it has not been certified by UL, ETL or a similar lab. Keep it on a heat-safe counter with clearance and never leave it unattended.

What comes in the box?

Expect the oven unit and the cordierite pizza stone; peel, cutter and other tools are usually sold separately. Check the listing contents before ordering.

When is it cheapest?
