Our take on the Costway Set of 2 Bar Stools Swivel 25'' Dining Bar Chairs with Rubber Wood Legs

A pair of upholstered counter-height bar stools with a 25-inch seat height, a swivel seat and rubberwood legs. The fixed height and 18-inch square seats suit kitchen islands and counters around 35 to 37 inches tall. At $119.99 for two at Target as of November 4, 2026, the set works out to about $60 per stool, which is low for swivel stools with solid wood legs.

Questions and answers

Will these fit my kitchen island?
The seat height is fixed at 25 inches, which suits counters about 35 to 37 inches high. For a standard 40 to 42-inch bar table you want a 28 to 30-inch stool instead.
Is the set worth it compared with other swivel stools?
At $119.99 for two at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is cheaper than most swivel stools with wood legs, which often run $80 or more each. You trade adjustability and a backrest for the lower price.
How hard is assembly?
Adult assembly is required, and tools are included. Expect to attach the legs and seat on each stool; most people finish both in under an hour.
What is the weight capacity?
Costway does not publish a capacity for this set in the listed specs. The rubberwood legs and square seat base are built for normal adult use, but check the box or Costway's site if you need a specific limit.
What is in the box?
Two stools and the assembly tools. Each stool has an upholstered swivel seat and four rubberwood legs.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store, Target, lists it new at $119.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is little price competition. Watch for Target home sales and holiday promotions rather than expecting a lower price elsewhere.
Where is the Costway Set of 2 Bar Stools Swivel 25'' Dining Bar Chairs with Rubber Wood Legs cheapest?
At Target, for $119.99, as of our latest check.
