Our take on the Darby Home Co Swivel Counter Height Bar Stool

The Darby Home Co Swivel Counter Height Bar Stool is a metal stool with a full 360-degree swivel seat, sold in sets of two, three or four. It comes in 26-inch counter and 30-inch bar heights, so one line covers both kitchen islands and taller bars. The best new price is $252.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no discount to wait for.

Questions and answers

Is $252.99 a good price for this stool?
It is the only new price listed, $252.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, so there is no lower competing offer to compare against. Check whether that price covers a set of 2, 3 or 4, since the set size changes the per-stool cost a lot.
Should I get the 26-inch or 30-inch seat height?
Use 26 inches for standard kitchen counters, which are about 36 inches high. Use 30 inches for bar-height counters around 42 inches.
Does the seat swivel all the way around?
Yes. The stool has a full swivel seat, which makes it easier to get in and out at an island or bar.
How many stools come in a set?
It is sold in sets of 2, 3 or 4 pieces. Confirm the set size on the listing before ordering, because the price is for the set.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
It is a metal stool, but nothing in the listing says it is rated for outdoor or damp conditions. Keep it indoors unless the maker states otherwise.
Where is the Darby Home Co Swivel Counter Height Bar Stool cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $252.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Darby Home Co Swivel Counter Height Bar Stool?
