Questions and answers

Is the Craftsman 450-piece set worth it?
For home and light automotive work, yes. It covers a wide range of fastener types in one case, and at $271 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 it is priced in line with other large sets.
How does it compare with a smaller Craftsman set?
You get more sockets, bits and wrenches plus a three-drawer case instead of a molded box. The trade-off is weight and size, so a smaller set is easier to carry to a job.
