Is the Cuisinart Smart Stick worth it at $45?

At $45.00 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a low entry point for a variable-speed blender with chopper and whisk included. Comparable corded hand blenders with fewer attachments often cost more.

Can it blend hot soup in the pot?

Yes. The stainless shaft is made for immersion blending, so you can puree soup directly in the pot. Keep the motor head above the liquid line.

What comes in the box?

The blender motor body with stainless shaft, a whisk attachment, a 3-cup chopper/grinder attachment, a 700 mL stainless steel blending vessel and a 16 oz plastic cup.

Does it have variable speed or just low and high?

It has a variable-speed dial plus a slide control, so you can run anywhere between low and high rather than only two fixed settings. There is also a pulse function.

No. It is a corded 300 W appliance, so it needs a nearby outlet and has no battery to charge.

The lowest new price seen is $45.00 at eBay as of November 5, 2026. Hand blenders often dip during holiday sales, so watch for drops around November and December.
