Our take on the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights 8 LED Disk Lights

The Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights are flat disk lights that stake into soil along walkways, garden beds and driveways. Each light puts out 200 lumens of cool white light at 6500 K from 8 LEDs, powered by a small solar panel and a 3.7 V battery, so there is no wiring and no cord. The 12-pack suits lining a path or lighting a yard in one order. At $23.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, the set works out to about $2 per light, at the low end of what these disk lights usually cost.

Pros

  • Staked lights can be pushed over by dogs, mowers or heavy rain

Questions and answers

Is the Daybetter 12 pack worth it?
At $23.99 for 12 lights at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to light a path without wiring. Expect budget build quality and plan on replacing some units within a year or two.
How bright are these lights?
Each light is rated 200 lumens at 6500 K, which is bright for a disk ground light. Real output depends on how much sun the panel gets that day.
How long do they run on a charge?
Most solar disk lights in this class run several hours after a full sunny day. In shade or on overcast days, expect shorter runtimes and dimmer light.
Do they need direct sun?
Yes. The solar panel has to see direct sun for most of the day to charge the battery. Under trees or eaves they will fade quickly.
What comes in the box?
The pack contains 12 disk lights with built-in solar panels and stakes. No wiring, tools or separate batteries are needed to set them up.
When is the price lowest?
Solar path lights usually drop in spring and early summer and again in end-of-season clearance. The current $23.99 at Walmart is already near the low end for a 12-pack.
Where is the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights 8 LED Disk Lights cheapest?
At Walmart, for $23.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights 8 LED Disk Lights?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 447 ratings.
