Is the Dell 16 Premium worth it?

It depends on price. You get a large touchscreen, NVIDIA graphics and a 1 TB SSD, which suits general use and light creative work. Compare its current price against its recent range on this page before deciding.

Should I get 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM?

Choose 16 GB for browsing, office work and streaming. Choose 32 GB if you edit photos or video, run virtual machines or keep many apps open at once.

Is the screen good enough for photo editing?

The 1920 x 1200 panel is fine for casual editing and everyday use. Its resolution is lower than high-end 16-inch laptops, so fine detail work benefits from a sharper display.

Does it have a fingerprint reader?

Yes. The listed configuration includes a fingerprint scan reader for Windows sign-in.

What comes in the box?

Expect the laptop and its power adapter. The listing does not detail extras, so confirm accessories with the store before ordering.

Dell laptops typically drop during back-to-school and holiday sales and when a new model replaces them. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
