Questions and answers

Is the Dell XPS 13 worth $999.99?
At $999.99 at Best Buy as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a Core Ultra 7 with 16 GB RAM and a 2.5K touchscreen. Comparable premium ultraportables often cost more, so this is a reasonable buy if the specs fit your work.
Is this good enough for gaming or video editing?
It uses integrated Intel graphics, so it handles light editing and older or low-setting games only. For modern games or 4K editing, look at a laptop with a dedicated GPU.
Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?
RAM is soldered on XPS 13 models, so buy the 16 GB you need up front. The 512 GB SSD can be replaced, but check warranty terms before opening the laptop.
How does it compare with the previous XPS 13?
The Core Ultra 7 Series 3 chip is newer and more efficient than earlier generations, and the 2.5K touch panel carries over. The main differences are performance and battery life rather than design.
What ports does it have?
Expect Thunderbolt/USB-C ports only, with no USB-A or HDMI. Plan on a USB-C hub or dock if you connect monitors, flash drives or wired peripherals.
When is it cheapest?
XPS 13 prices drop around Black Friday, back-to-school and when a new model launches. The current $999.99 at Best Buy is already near the low end, so waiting may not save much.
Where is the Dell XPS 13.4" 2.5K Touchscreen Laptop Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 2026 cheapest?
At Best Buy, for $999.99, 33% off, as of our latest check.
