Is 8 GB of RAM enough?

For browsing, email and office apps, yes. If you keep many tabs open or run photo and video editing, 8 GB will feel tight, and it cannot be upgraded later.

Is the screen touch-enabled?

Yes. The 2560 x 1600 display supports touch, which is uncommon on a laptop at this price.

It weighs 2.2 lb, so it fits easily in a small bag.

Is $599.99 a good price?

It is the best new price among 5 stores as of November 5, 2026. That is a low entry point for a 2560 x 1600 touchscreen ultraportable.

Can I upgrade the storage or memory?

The 512 GB SSD may be serviceable, but the 8 GB of RAM is soldered, so buy the memory you need up front.

Yes, it ships with Windows in the English/North America configuration.
