The Rockville DESTROYER 12D1 is a high-performance 12-inch car subwoofer engineered for extreme power and durability. It features a massive peak power handling of 8000 Watts and a CEA rated RMS of 2000 Watts, driven by 3-inch 4-layer black aluminum voice coils. The motor structure utilizes triple-stacked 300 Oz Y35 magnets and a one-piece chrome T-yoke to maximize magnetic flux and excursion, ensuring that every watt of power is translated into deep, impactful bass. The cast aluminum basket with a black sanded finish provides a rigid, lightweight foundation that maintains efficiency even under heavy loads. Designed for audiophiles who demand longevity and sound quality, this subwoofer incorporates an ultra-stiff black non-pressed paper cone reinforced with silver stitching. The suspension system features an extra-thick foam surround and a tear-resistant Nomex spider, allowing for a massive 30mm XMAX with minimal distortion. High-grade black glue and a shiny paper dustcap are utilized to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from 300-350C. Connectivity is handled by large 8-gauge chrome-plated binding post terminals that resist oxidation, providing a secure and reliable signal path for your car audio system.
