Our take on the DeWalt 20-Volt MAX 7-Tool Cordless Combo Kit with ToughSystem and Job Site Radio

This is a DeWalt 20-Volt MAX combo kit bundling seven brushed-motor cordless tools, three lithium-ion batteries, a charger, a ToughSystem storage case and a job site radio. The 20V MAX line is DeWalt's largest battery platform, so the batteries work across hundreds of bare tools. It suits someone starting a tool collection or outfitting a truck or shop in one purchase. The kit's price moves with battery and tool promotions, so check the current best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying tools separately?
If you need most of the seven tools and the batteries, the bundle usually costs less than buying each piece alone. If you only need two or three tools, buy those bare tools and one battery instead.
How does this compare to DeWalt's brushless kits?
Brushless kits cost more but run cooler, last longer and deliver more power per battery charge. This brushed kit is the budget route into the 20V MAX platform.
What batteries are included and how long do they run?
The kit includes three 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries and a charger. Runtime depends on the tool and battery capacity; compact batteries suit drills and drivers, while saws drain them faster.
Are the batteries compatible with other DeWalt 20V MAX tools?
Yes. The 20V MAX batteries fit DeWalt's 20V MAX bare tools, including newer brushless models, so the kit is a starting point for expanding your set.
What comes in the box?
Seven cordless tools, three 20V MAX batteries, a charger, a ToughSystem case and a job site radio. Check the tool list for the exact models included.
When is the best time to buy this kit?
Combo kits see the deepest discounts around Black Friday, Father's Day and end-of-season tool events. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
