Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying tools separately?
Usually yes if you need most of the included tools and want shared batteries and a charger. If you only need one or two tools, bare tools plus a battery often cost less.
How many tools are actually in the kit?
The name says seven tools, but the listed spec shows four tools included. Check the itemized contents on the store page before ordering.
What batteries come in the box?
DeWalt 20V MAX combo kits typically include two batteries and a charger, often compact 2.0Ah packs. Confirm the exact battery model and capacity in the listing.
Do the tools work with other DeWalt 20V batteries?
Yes. All DeWalt 20V MAX tools and batteries are cross-compatible, including PowerStack and larger 5.0Ah packs.
When is the best time to buy?
Prices on this kit have ranged from $549 to $699 recently. The current $599 at Ace Hardware as of March 12 is close to the low, and holiday sales often match or beat it.
