Questions and answers

Is the DeWalt DCST925M1 worth it at $135.20?
At $135.20 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a strong price for a kit that includes a 4.0Ah battery and charger. That is near the bottom of its recent range, so it is a good time to buy if you already own DeWalt 20V MAX tools.
How does it compare with the DeWalt 60V trimmer?
The 60V models cut thicker grass and brush with more power, but they cost more and use a different battery platform. The 20V DCST925M1 is the better pick for light trimming and for shoppers who already own 20V MAX batteries.
How long does the battery last?
Expect roughly 20 to 30 minutes of continuous trimming on the included 4.0Ah battery, less in heavy grass. A larger 20V MAX pack extends runtime if you already own one.
What line size does it take?
It uses 0.080-inch trimmer line on a bump-feed spool. DeWalt replacement spools are widely sold, and you can also rewind the spool with bulk line.
What comes in the box?
The kit includes the trimmer, a 20V MAX 4.0Ah battery, a charger and a guard. Line is pre-wound on the spool.
When is it cheapest?
Cordless outdoor tools tend to drop during spring lawn-care sales and Black Friday. The current $135.20 at eBay is already below its typical $170 to $200 range.
Where is the DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless String Trimmer Kit DCST925M1 cheapest?
