Does the DCS373B come with a battery?

No. It is a bare tool: the box includes the saw and a blade, but no battery or charger.

What size blade does it take?

It uses a 5.5-inch blade. That keeps it light but limits how deep it can cut.

Is it good for framing?

It is better suited to trim, siding and sheet goods. For thick framing lumber, a full-size 7-1/4-inch saw is the better choice.

Which batteries does it use?

It runs on DeWalt 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries, the same packs used across that tool line.

Is $230.58 a good price?

That is near the top of its recent range as of November 7, 2026. Waiting for a lower price is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.
