Does it come with a battery and charger?

No. It runs on DeWalt 18V XR batteries, including the 9.0Ah FLEXVOLT pack, but the pack and charger are sold separately and charge on existing 18V XR chargers.

How long does it run on one battery?

Runtime depends on the pack and mode. A 9.0Ah FLEXVOLT pack lasts longest on the 1,000-lumen setting and drains fastest at 3,000 lumens.

Can it be used outdoors in rain?

Yes. It is IP55 rated for dust and water jets and has been drop tested, so light rain and dusty sites are fine. It is not meant for submersion.

How bright is it and can it be dimmed?

It has two brightness levels, 3,000 and 1,000 lumens, with a neutral white beam. The head pivots 200 degrees and the stand adjusts in height.

Pros

Runs on existing 18V XR and FLEXVOLT packs, no separate battery system
Up to 3,000 lumens with a 1,000-lumen low mode for longer runtime
200-degree pivoting head and height-adjustable tripod base aim light where needed
IP55 dust and water rating plus drop testing suit rough job sites
Folding frame makes it easier to carry and store

Cons

Heavy at 7.4 kg, so it is a two-hand carry
No battery charge indicator, so you can't check remaining runtime at a glance
Battery and charger are not included at this price
Neutral beam color is fine for work but not for color-critical tasks
Only one new listing found, so price competition is limited
