Will this chain fit my DeWalt chainsaw?

It fits 12-inch bars on the DeWalt 20V MAX DCCS620 cordless chainsaw. Check that your bar is 12 inches with a 0.043-inch gauge and takes 45 links before buying.

Is this chain worth it over a cheaper generic?

At $19.48 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it costs little more than generic 12-inch chain. The exact fit and Centri-lube links make it the safer pick for the DCCS620.

Is it a low-kickback chain?

Yes. It meets ANSI standards for low-kickback chain and is designed for minimum kickback and low vibration.

It is a channel in each drive link that picks up bar oil and carries it to the rivets. DeWalt says this reduces friction and lengthens chain life.

Semi-chisel or full-chisel?

This is a semi-chisel chain. It cuts a little slower than full-chisel but keeps its edge longer in dirty, frozen or gritty wood.

Chain pricing moves little, but it is often bundled or discounted in spring and fall. The current $19.48 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026 is already near the low end.

Our take on the DeWalt Replacement Chainsaw Chain - 12"

The DeWalt DWO1DT612 is a 12-inch replacement saw chain for the 20V MAX cordless chainsaw (DCCS620).
