Our take on the DJI Mini 5 Pro Drone Quadcopter Fly More Combo with RC-N3

The DJI Mini 5 Pro is a sub-250g folding camera drone sold here in the Fly More Combo with the RC-N3 controller, which uses your phone as the screen. It stands out for a 52-minute rated flight time, up to 13 miles of transmission range and a top speed near 22 mph, all in a body light enough to skip registration in many countries. The Fly More Combo adds spare batteries, a charging hub and a carry bag, so it is the version to get if you plan to fly often. Questions and answers

Is the DJI Mini 5 Pro worth it over a cheaper Mini?
Yes if flight time and range matter to you. The 52-minute battery and 13-mile transmission are the main upgrades over older Minis, and the Fly More Combo spreads the cost of spare batteries.
Do I need to register the Mini 5 Pro?
In the US, drones under 250g used recreationally generally do not need registration, but rules vary by country and by use. Check your local rules, and note that adding accessories can push the weight over the limit.
How long does the battery really last?
DJI rates it at 52 minutes, which is measured in ideal conditions with no wind and at a steady hover. Expect less in wind, cold weather or aggressive flying.
What is included in the Fly More Combo?
The combo pairs the drone with the RC-N3 controller and typically adds spare batteries, a multi-battery charging hub and a carry bag. Confirm the exact contents on the listing before ordering.
Does the RC-N3 controller work with my phone?
Yes, the RC-N3 holds your phone and uses it as the display. You will need a compatible phone with the DJI app installed, and the phone's screen brightness affects how easy it is to see in sunlight.
When is the best time to buy?
DJI drones usually see discounts during major sales events and when a newer model is announced. Compare the current price against its recent history before buying.
