Is the Mini 5 Pro worth it over the Mini 4 Pro?

The main gain is the 1-inch sensor, which improves stills and low light. If you already own a Mini 4 Pro and shoot mostly daylight video, the upgrade is smaller.

How long can it actually fly?

DJI rates 36 minutes with the standard battery and 52 with the Plus battery. Expect less in wind or cold, and the Plus battery is not part of this bundle.

Do I need a memory card?

No for short trips: there is 42GB of internal storage. For long shoots, add a microSD card, since none is included.

The drone, DJI RC 2, four Intelligent Flight Batteries, four spare propeller pairs, a two-way charging hub and a storage cover.

Do I need to register it?

At under 249g it falls under lighter rules in many countries, but local registration and remote ID rules vary. Check your country's rules before flying.

About the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo with DJI RC 2, 4 Battery Bundle

The DJI Mini 5 Pro brings advanced aerial imaging into a compact foldable drone built for travel, creative projects, and everyday flight practice. Its 1-inch CMOS camera captures up to 50 MP stills and 4K at 60 fps HDR video, while 42 GB of internal storage gives you room to keep recording when a memory card is not immediately available.

Large Sensor Camera for Detailed Aerial Content

The 1-inch CMOS sensor and f/1.8 aperture help capture strong detail across bright and low-light scenes. DJI also supports 4K at 120 fps slow motion, giving creators another way to shape action footage. True vertical shooting makes it easier to frame content for portrait-oriented platforms without relying on a crop after capture.

Flexible Framing and Smarter Subject Tracking

A 225-degree gimbal roll range opens more camera angles for dynamic movement, while upgraded ActiveTrack 360 can recognize sports scenes and select Cycling or Standard tracking behavior. Forward-facing LiDAR and multiple vision sensors support nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing, adding more environmental awareness during flight. Smart RTH can also use remembered flight routes when lighting conditions allow.

Portable Control with More Flight Sessions

The foldable airframe is easy to carry, and the DJI RC 2 provides a built-in 5.5-inch 1080p display for direct control without using a phone as the primary screen. The included standard Intelligent Flight Batteries support up to 36 minutes of flight time each under DJI test conditions. This bundle adds 4 batteries, a charging hub, spare propeller pairs, a storage cover, and a USB Type-C cable for a more complete field setup.
