The Donner Beginner Electronic Drum Set is a compact full-size kit with four mesh-head pads, an 8-inch snare and 8-inch bass drum, and a steel frame. It runs on corded power and includes headphones, so you can practice quietly without waking the house. Mesh heads give a firmer, quieter feel than rubber pads at this price. It is built for first-time players rather than gigging drummers.

Buyers rate it 4.4 out of 5 from 80 ratings, with most feedback coming from beginners and parents. Owners tend to like the quiet mesh feel and the included headphones for the price. Complaints center on the small pad sizes and the basic sound module.
