Is the DR.Planzen 6ft Artificial Olive Tree worth it?

It is worth it if you want a tall, low-maintenance olive tree for a corner and don't need it to pass as real up close. If realism matters most, a pricier faux tree or a real olive in a bright spot may suit you better.

How tall is it, and how wide does it spread?

It is listed at 6 feet tall. Branch spread varies by how you arrange the stems, so check the store's dimensions before buying if space is tight.

Does it need assembly?

Usually the trunk and branches come in a few pieces and need to be slotted together and fluffed out. Plan for a few minutes of shaping after unboxing.

Can I use it outdoors?

It is recommended for indoor use. Sun and rain will fade the leaves and can damage the pot, so keep it inside or on a covered porch.

Expect the potted tree with its branches, typically packed in sections. Check the listing for whether a pot liner or moss topping is included.

Faux trees like this often drop during fall and holiday decor sales and around Black Friday. Compare prices across stores and check the price history before buying.

Our take on the DR.Planzen 6ft Artificial Olive Tree

The DR.Planzen 6ft Artificial Olive Tree is a potted faux olive tree about six feet tall, made for indoor display in living rooms, entryways and offices. It stands out for its olive-leaf look and the fact that it needs no water, light or pruning. It is a decorative piece, not a real plant, so buyers should expect a fixed shape and a pot that is usually plain.
