Question 1

Is 15 lb the right weight for me?

Accepted Answer

A common rule is about 10% of body weight, so 15 lb suits most adults around 130-170 lb. Lighter adults and teens may prefer 12 lb.

Question 2

How do I wash it?

Accepted Answer

Remove the cover and machine wash it, then air-dry; the blanket is not tumble dry safe. Do not bleach or dry clean it.

Question 3

Does the cooling side really work?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers say it feels cooler than a standard weighted blanket, but it is not actively chilled. It helps most in air-conditioned or moderate rooms.

Question 4

What is inside the fill?

Accepted Answer

The fill is 90% glass beads, 5% amethyst and 5% quartz. The glass beads carry the weight; the stones are a small decorative share.

Question 5

Is $71.99 a good price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At $71.99 at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026, it is at the low end of its recent range for a 15 lb blanket with a removable cover.

Question 6

What sizes does it come in?
