Questions and answers

Is the Dreo 1500W heater worth it at $69.99?
At $69.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a fair price for a compact heater with a thermostat, remote, timer and four safety features. It makes sense if you need spot heat for one room up to 200 sq ft, not whole-home heating.
How much space will it actually heat?
Dreo rates it for up to 200 sq ft, which is roughly a bedroom or small office. In a larger or open room, expect it to warm the area near the heater rather than the whole space.
Can I run it on a standard outlet?
Yes, it plugs into a standard 120V AC outlet, but at 1500W it pulls about 12.5A. Avoid sharing that circuit with a microwave, kettle or another heater.
Does it have a thermostat and timer?
Yes. It has an adjustable thermostat and a 1-12 hour auto-off timer, both usable from the remote. The timer shuts the heater off rather than turning it on.
What safety features does it include?
It has overheat protection, a tip-over switch that cuts power if knocked over, a flame-retardant housing and a fused safety plug. It is for indoor use only.
What comes in the box?
Expect the heater, a remote control and the user manual. A battery for the remote may or may not be included, so check the listing before buying.
Where is the Dreo 1500W Electric Space Heater with Dual-DC Motor cheapest?
At Walmart, for $69.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Dreo 1500W Electric Space Heater with Dual-DC Motor?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 77 ratings.
