Questions and answers

Is the Dreo 1500W space heater worth it?
At $35.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add heat to one room. It suits spot heating up to 200 square feet, not replacing central heat for a whole home.
How much space will it actually heat?
Dreo rates it for up to 200 square feet. Expect it to warm a bedroom or office, and to feel weaker in open or poorly insulated rooms.
Can I plug it into a normal outlet?
At 1500W it pulls about 12.5 amps, so use a dedicated 15-amp circuit and avoid sharing the outlet with other high-draw appliances. Check that your wiring and outlet are rated for it.
Does it have a thermostat and timer?
Yes. It has an adjustable thermostat, a timer and a remote control, so you can set a target temperature and a shutoff time.
What safety features does it have?
It has overheat protection and a tip-over switch that cuts power if the unit is knocked over. Keep it clear of curtains and furniture and use it indoors only.
When is the best time to buy it?
Heater prices usually ease outside peak winter demand. With only one store listing it new as of November 5, 2026, compare that $35.99 against other Dreo models before buying.
Where is the Dreo Space Heater 1500W Portable Electric Heater cheapest?
At Walmart, for $35.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Dreo Space Heater 1500W Portable Electric Heater?
Rated 4.4 out of 5 from 430 ratings.
