Is this set worth $38.99?

At $38.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it works out to about $2.44 per piece for stoneware that is dishwasher and microwave safe. That is a fair price for a starter or everyday set.

How does it compare with porcelain sets?

Stoneware is thicker and heavier than porcelain and holds heat longer, but it chips more easily on hard edges. Porcelain sets usually cost more.

Can the plates and mugs go in the microwave and dishwasher?

Yes. Every piece in the set is listed as dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Four dinner plates, four salad plates, four bowls and four mugs, 16 pieces total.

When is the best time to buy?

Wayfair discounts dinnerware often around holiday sales and clearance events. With only one store listing a new price, watch for a markdown from $38.99 rather than cross-store savings.

Our take on the Ebern Designs 16 Piece Dinnerware Set Service for 4

This is a 16-piece stoneware set that serves four: four dinner plates, four salad plates, four bowls and four mugs. The pieces have a matte finish with a contrasting interior, and they are both dishwasher and microwave safe. At $38.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against. At roughly $2.44 per piece, it sits at the low end of what a full stoneware service for four costs.
