Our take on the Ebern Designs 36" Freestanding Bathroom Vanity Cabinet Modern Shaker Style Base with 5 Drawers & Soft-Close Doors
The Ebern Designs 36" Freestanding Bathroom Vanity Cabinet is a shaker-style base cabinet with soft-close doors and drawers, sold without a sink or faucet. It is a budget-priced way to get a 36-inch vanity footprint, and at $184.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026 it sits at the low end of what a cabinet-only vanity of this size costs. Buyers should plan on adding a top, sink and faucet, which pushes the real cost well above the cabinet price.

Questions and answers
- Is $184.99 a good price for this vanity?
- It is a low price for a 36-inch freestanding cabinet, and only one store lists it new at that figure as of November 4, 2026. Compare it against vanities that include a top and sink before deciding it is the better deal.
- Does it come with a sink or countertop?
- No. This is the cabinet base only, so you need to buy a top, an undermount or drop-in sink and a faucet separately. Budget for those before you commit.
- How many drawers does it actually have?
- The product name says five drawers while the listed specs say three. Confirm the drawer layout with the seller before ordering, since the interior storage differs between versions.
- Will a standard 36-inch vanity top fit?
- A 36-inch vanity top is the intended match, but check the cabinet's exact depth and the sink cutout position. Measure the cabinet once assembled, since slight size differences are common at this price.
- Is it hard to assemble?
- Expect flat-pack assembly with cam locks and screws, plus leveling against the wall. Two people make it faster, and a drill helps with the door and drawer hardware.
- When is it cheapest?
- Wayfair's price of $184.99 as of November 4, 2026 is the only new price listed. Vanity cabinets typically drop during holiday sales, so watch for markdowns around major sale events.
