Our take on the Ebern Designs Cordoba Upholstered Platform Bed with Adjustable Headboard

Pros
  • Adjustable headboard height suits different mattress thicknesses
  • 650 lb weight capacity is generous at this price
  • Slats included, so no box spring is required
  • Built-in drawer adds storage in tight rooms
  • Upholstered headboard and frame soften the look
Cons
  • Engineered wood and metal construction, not solid wood
  • Only one store lists it, so price competition is thin

  • Single drawer limits storage; drawer side may be fixed

Questions and answers

Is the Cordoba bed worth it?
For a queen platform bed with an adjustable headboard and a drawer under $210, it is a reasonable value. The 650 lb capacity and included slats save you the cost of a box spring.
Do I need a box spring with this bed?
No. The bed ships with slats and is a platform design, so a mattress sits directly on the frame. A box spring would only add height.
What mattress thickness works with the adjustable headboard?
The adjustable headboard lets you raise or lower it to match your mattress height. That helps with thicker mattresses that would otherwise hide the headboard.
How much assembly does it require?
It arrives flat-packed and needs full assembly, including the metal frame, slats, upholstered panels and drawer. Plan on a couple of hours and a second person.
When is the Cordoba cheapest?
Its lowest recent price was $175.99 on November 2, 2026, against $209.99 at Wayfair on November 3. Watch for it to drop back toward that low before buying.
Does the drawer fit a queen mattress setup?
The drawer is built into the frame, so check the listing's dimensions against your room layout. It stores bedding or clothes but is not sized for large items.
Where is the Ebern Designs Cordoba Upholstered Platform Bed with Adjustable Headboard cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $209.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Ebern Designs Cordoba Upholstered Platform Bed with Adjustable Headboard?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 264 ratings.
Where can I buy the Ebern Designs Cordoba Upholstered Platform Bed with Adjustable Headboard?
