Does the EGO 880 CFM blower come with a battery?

No. It is a bare tool, so battery and charger are sold separately. EGO recommends 4.0Ah ARC Lithium packs, and the 90-minute average runtime figure assumes two of them.

How does it compare to the EGO 765 CFM blower?

The 880 CFM is EGO's most powerful handheld, with more airflow and a digital display the 765 lacks. The 765 is lighter and cheaper, so it suits smaller yards better.

How long does the battery last?

EGO claims up to 90 minutes of average runtime with two 4.0Ah batteries. Expect much less in turbo mode, where a single 4.0Ah pack may last only minutes.

Is it good for wet leaves and snow?

Yes. Turbo mode with the tapered nozzle pushes 880 CFM at up to 200 MPH, which handles wet leaves, mud and light snow. The spread nozzle is better for dry leaves on lawns.

What nozzles are in the box?

The kit includes a tapered nozzle for concentrated high-speed air and a spread nozzle for wider sweeps. No battery, charger or bag is included.

When is the price lowest?

EGO blowers tend to drop during fall leaf season and spring patio sales, and bare-tool prices fall further when retailers bundle batteries. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Ego Power+ 880Cfm Blower (Bare Tool)

The EGO Power+ 880 CFM is EGO's most powerful handheld blower, a cordless bare tool built around a brushless motor and turbine fan. It hits 880 CFM and up to 200 MPH in turbo mode, with a variable trigger that dials down to 270 CFM and a digital display for speed, battery charge and cruise lock. A carbon fiber body keeps it light, and the IPX4 housing shrugs off weather. It ships without battery or charger, so budget for EGO 4.0Ah ARC Lithium packs to reach the claimed 90-minute average runtime.
