Questions and answers

Is the ZLX-12P worth it for a beginner DJ?
Yes, if you play small rooms and add a subwoofer for bass-heavy music. It is loud, simple to set up, and priced at $549 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026.
How does it compare with the ZLX-12P-G2?
The G2 refresh adds app-based control and updated DSP. The original ZLX-12P is the cheaper choice and covers the same basic jobs.
Do I need a subwoofer with it?
For DJ sets and hip-hop, yes. The 12-inch woofer reaches 50 Hz, which is fine for vocals and acoustic music but thin for deep bass.
