Is the Everse 8 worth it over a cheaper Bluetooth speaker?

Yes if you need XLR and TRS inputs, four channels and 121 dB for live sound. A plain Bluetooth speaker is cheaper but cannot run a mic and instrument at gig volume.

How long does the battery last?

Electro-Voice rates the Everse 8 for several hours of play at moderate volume, with shorter runtime at full output. Charge it fully before an outdoor event.

Can I use it as a monitor or with a mixer?

Yes. The XLR and 1/4-inch inputs accept a mixer or monitor send, and the four channels let you run a mic, instrument and Bluetooth source at once.

Does it work for DJ sets?

It handles small rooms and parties, but the 8-inch woofer limits sub-bass. For a full dance floor, add a subwoofer or step up to a larger model.

The speaker and a power cable. No microphone, stand or carry bag is included.
