Our take on the Element 2.1 Sound Bar & Subwoofer

The Element 2.1 Sound Bar & Subwoofer is a budget two-piece audio system: a sound bar plus a wireless subwoofer, rated at 120 W total. It connects over Bluetooth or HDMI and can be wall mounted. At $101.09 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, so this is a fair time to buy if you want a cheap upgrade over TV speakers.

Questions and answers

Is the Element 2.1 sound bar worth it?
At $101.09 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add a subwoofer and clearer dialogue to a small TV setup. Expect basic sound, not premium audio.
Does it work with an older TV?
Only if your TV has HDMI (ideally HDMI ARC) or Bluetooth audio output. The listed connections do not include optical or analog inputs, so a TV with only those will not connect directly.
Is the subwoofer wireless?
Yes. The subwoofer is wireless, but it still needs its own power outlet near where you place it.
Can I wall mount it?
Yes. The sound bar is listed as wall-mount style, so it can be hung under or above the TV with a suitable bracket.
When is the price lowest?
The current $101.09 at Walmart is at the low end of its recent range. Big sale events like Black Friday and back-to-school are the usual times for further discounts.
