Is the Ethan Allen Paramount sofa good for pets?

Ethan Allen markets it for pets and families, and the stain-resistant woven fabric helps with accidents and muddy paws. Cream still shows hair and grime, so plan on regular vacuuming and spot cleaning.

Are the seat cushions removable?

Yes. The seat cushions are loose and removable, which makes rotating and cleaning them easier. The frame and arms are upholstered and not removable.

Will an 82-inch sofa fit my room?

It measures 82 inches wide, 36 inches deep and 36 inches high, with a 20-inch seat height. Measure your doorway and delivery path, not just the wall, before ordering.

What is included with the sofa?

The sofa ships with two 15-inch throw pillows in the matching fabric. Other pillows and tables shown in photos are sold separately.

How does it compare with a solid hardwood sofa?

The Paramount uses an engineered hardwood frame, which is stable and common at this price but not the same as kiln-dried solid hardwood. Sit-test it if long-term frame durability is your priority.

When is the best time to buy?

Ethan Allen runs seasonal sales and clearance events, and floor models are often discounted. Check the current price against its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Ethan Allen Paramount Panel-Arm Sofa in Cream

The Ethan Allen Paramount is an 82-inch panel-arm sofa in cream stain-resistant woven fabric, built for family rooms and pet households. It seats three on a 67-inch interior with loose, removable CertiPUR-US foam-and-fiber cushions and two 15-inch throw pillows included. The 36-inch depth and 20-inch seat height make it a roomy, easy-to-rise-from couch. Its price sits at the upper end of the upholstered-sofa market, so compare it against other made-to-order American brands before committing.
