Our take on the Eurohome 5 Piece Stainless Steel Knife Set with Acrylic Stand

The Eurohome 5-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Set pairs stamped stainless steel blades with black ergonomic handles and a clear acrylic stand for countertop storage. The blades carry a mirror finish and a "never-need sharpening" edge, and the set is meant for everyday slicing, chopping and dicing. It is a budget set: the best new price is $37.59 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new.

Pros
  • Acrylic stand keeps knives visible and within reach
  • Stamped stainless blades resist rust and wipe clean easily
  • Ergonomic black handles suit most hand sizes
  • Low price for a five-piece set with storage
  • Mirror finish looks sharper than the price suggests
Cons
  • Stamped blades are thin and won't hold an edge like forged ones
  • "Never-need sharpening" edges cut less cleanly over time
  • Hand wash only; not dishwasher safe
  • Blade length spec of 10 inches is unusually long for a utility knife
  • Acrylic stand can scratch and shows smudges

Questions and answers

Is this knife set worth it?
For a starter kitchen or a spare set, yes. At $37.59 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it costs little and includes a stand. Serious cooks should expect to replace it sooner than forged knives.
Do the knives really never need sharpening?
The blades use a never-need-sharpening edge, which stays usable longer than a plain edge but is not permanent. Heavy chopping will still dull them, and stamped blades like these cannot be resharpened easily.
Can I put these knives in the dishwasher?
No. The set is hand wash only. Dishwasher heat and detergent can dull the edge and wear the handles.
What comes in the box?
Five knives plus the acrylic stand. The listing describes a utility knife and a 10-inch blade length, so check the individual knife sizes before buying if exact lengths matter.
When is the best time to buy?
Two stores list it new, so compare both before buying. The best price seen is $37.59 at eBay as of November 5, 2026; watch for holiday kitchen sales to beat it.
