Questions and answers

Is the Famiware 24-piece set worth it?
At $119.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheaper ways to get a full ceramic service for eight. It makes sense if you want color and quantity over a matched formal pattern.
What is included in the 24 pieces?
It is a service for eight, so the 24 pieces break down into eight dinner plates, eight salad plates and eight bowls. Mugs and serving pieces are not part of the set.
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Famiware markets this line as dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand washing will still extend the life of the glaze.
How does it compare with a stoneware set?
Stoneware is heavier and often more chip-resistant; this ceramic set is lighter and cheaper. For everyday family meals, either works, but stoneware costs more.
When is the price lowest?
