Is the Firmstrong Urban Man worth it at $219.99?

At $219.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a steel cruiser with a simple single-speed setup. It suits flat, casual riding; if you face hills, a geared bike is a better buy.

What size rider does the 19-inch frame fit?

Firmstrong lists it for riders roughly 5 ft to 6 ft tall. Shorter or taller riders should check standover height before buying.

Does it have gears or only a coaster brake?

It is single speed with one gear and a pedal-backwards coaster brake. There are no hand brakes or derailleurs.

About 33 lb. That is normal for a steel cruiser but heavy if you carry it up stairs or load it on a rack.

Can I ride it on hills?

Only with effort. One gear and a 33 lb steel frame make climbs hard; it is built for flat beach, boardwalk and neighborhood routes.

Cruisers often drop in price outside summer. The current best new price is $219.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026; check the price history before buying.
