Is the Smart Stages Puppy worth it?

For the price, yes. At $13.60 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to give a baby songs, first words and buttons to press, and the three levels keep it useful up to about 36 months.

How does it differ from the original Laugh & Learn Puppy?

This version adds Smart Stages: three levels of content that you switch as the child grows, so the songs and words get more advanced. The older puppy had a single fixed set of content.
