Is the LEGO DUPLO Number Train worth it?

For a toddler's first building set, yes. It combines a push-along train with number learning, and DUPLO bricks hold up to rough play. Older preschoolers may want a larger DUPLO set instead.

What age is the LEGO DUPLO Number Train for?

LEGO recommends it for ages 1.5 and up. The bricks are large enough for toddlers to handle safely, though small children should still be supervised.

Does it need batteries?

No. The train is push-along only, with no motor or lights, so there is nothing to charge or replace.

Is it compatible with other LEGO sets?

It works with other LEGO DUPLO sets, not with standard LEGO bricks. DUPLO pieces are about twice the size of regular LEGO.

The set includes 23 pieces: the train parts, a figure, and 10 number bricks. Assembly is required before play.
