- Is the FLEXISPOT XL31 worth it at $399.99?
- At $399.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-priced way to get lift plus massage. Comparable lift recliners from specialist brands often cost several hundred dollars more.
- How much weight can it hold?
- FLEXISPOT rates the XL31 at 300 lb. That covers most users, but check the 22-inch seat width if you are broad-shouldered.
- Does it need to be plugged in?
- Yes. The lift and recline motors and the massage run on household power, so place it near an outlet. It will not lift or recline during a power outage.
- How big is it and will it fit my room?
- It measures about 35.8 inches deep, 35.8 inches wide and 39.8 inches high. Leave clearance behind the chair for the recline, which needs more room than the upright footprint.
- What is in the box?
- The chair ships in two boxes, so expect two deliveries. FLEXISPOT estimates about 15 minutes of assembly, and the back and base usually join with a few connections.
- When is the price lowest?
- Lift recliners tend to dip during holiday sales and Prime Day events. With only two stores listing it new, watch Amazon and the second seller for a drop below $399.99.

- Where can I buy the FLEXISPOT XL31 Lift Recliner?
