Is the Chita Tracee worth it over a manual glider?

If you want a quiet push-button recline and a chair that doesn't look like a typical recliner, the power mechanism and 270-degree swivel justify the price. A manual glider costs less but lacks the powered recline and charging ports.

How much wall clearance does it need?

It is not a wall hugger, so leave room behind the backrest for the recline to travel. Chita does not publish a single clearance figure for every size, so measure against the recline depth of the model you pick.

Can the USB port charge a laptop?

No. The port outputs 5V at 2A, or 10W, which is enough for a phone but not a laptop. Use it for phones, tablets and e-readers.

What sizes and boxes does it come in?

It comes as a standard chair in one box, or as Wide Seat and Wide Seat & Extended Footrest versions in two boxes. The box includes the chair, the power system with hand controller, and the built-in USB and Type-C ports.

How much weight does it hold?

The Leggett & Platt mechanism is rated to 350 lbs and tested to 25,000 cycles. The frame is solid wood and carries a one-year warranty along with the mechanism.
